Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for using SyrkIT services safely and legally.

1. Prohibited Activities

  • Anything illegal, harmful, or abusive under applicable law.
  • Spam, unsolicited bulk email, deceptive marketing, or messaging that breaches applicable anti-spam, privacy, or consumer-protection law.
  • Phishing, malware, or attempts to gain unauthorised access to systems.
  • Content that infringes intellectual property or other rights.
  • Resource abuse that impacts other users or infrastructure (for example DDoS, scanning, excessive automation).

2. Email and Messaging

  • Use appropriate authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) where applicable.
  • Do not buy lists or send unsolicited bulk messages.
  • Use accurate sender details and include unsubscribe mechanisms where required by law or policy.

3. Security and Credentials

You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and access. If you suspect compromise, notify SyrkIT as soon as possible. We may take urgent action to protect systems, data, and other users.

4. Enforcement

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate services to prevent harm, comply with legal obligations, or respond to abuse. Where practical, we will notify you and outline steps to remedy the issue.
